Reading Plan Preparation

Hello All!!!  I pray, pray, pray that all are well and excited about this journey!!  Welcome to the 'Journey through the Bible' Blog.   This is a very informal blog and I encourage each of you to post comments and speak with and encourage one another as often as you are led by the Holy Spirit.  A few points to remember: 

The reading plan has been broken into 7 sections lasting 13 days each.

Everyone will be responsible for some general guidelines during the time of their assigned section.  (note:  all task can be done on the blog, however do not let the blog prevent you have from reaching out to one another personally):

(1)    Words of encouragement: Minimum of 3 times

• Post, text, or email prayers to all participants.
• Post reminders of what day, book, and section we should all be reading. 

(2)    Sharing a word of wisdom:  Minimum of 3 times

• Post thought of some revelation shown to you by God over what you are reading.

(3)    Arranging a meet time and place to discuss each section at the end of 13 days**

• Self explanatory: Schedule some time for fellowship and discussion
• Post highlights of things discussed from meeting

**Facetime and Skype can be arranged for meetings**

My prayer for you is that you sacrifice yourself to a willingness to obey and trust God more.  If you feel led to call/email/text daily to whomever God places on your heart, please do so.  Do not let the above guidelines deter you from reaching out to others.  Let God direct your path, Psalm 119:105 tells us "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."

Hey Ladies!

Our reading plan is set to begin!  The dates for the plan will be October 1st (Monday) and ending on December 30th (Sunday).  We will be reading the entire bible in 91 days.

I have attached the reading plan, courtesy of Clarrissa’s excel spreadsheet, that we will be following.
