Reminders of what day, book, and section we should all be reading!

  1. Remember 2 Timothy 3:16-17. "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work"

  4. This is going to be an amazing journey. So exciting to see how we three has multiplied almost 7 times over. Aint God good. Having completed this journey once this year I'm excited to start it again. I've tried several times in my life to read the entire bible, but I've never be able to complete it until committing with other Women of God who will hold me accountable.

I charge each of us to truly be accountability partners for one another...growing in our relationship with God and with one another. I'm excited to get to know everyone and see what God has in store for me!

  7. While reading Gen 16, after Sarah had told her maid to sleep with Abraham, she was upset with her and mistreated her, but an Angel of God told her to go back and deal with it, and told her about the promise from God. Just a word of encouragement today, God will NEVER send you through anything that he doesn't have a plan for you in the end!

    1. Well said. I was focusing so much on Sarai's treatment of Hagar, the fact that God told her to go back sort-of kinda went over my head. I needed to hear that today. Thank you.

  8. Genesis 32:9-12.
Jacob placed himself in a situation (orchestrated in part by his mother)that left him in fear to be reunited with his brother. Regardless of the situation, Jacob called on God to help him through his fear, praying God's word back to him, and recognizing he was not worthy of all God has shown and provided for him.
Remember today that even if we created our situation, we can still turn to God asking for help and guidance-but do not forget to come humbly before God, recognizing you don't deserve what He has already shown you and done for you.

  9. Genesis 41:38-39
..."Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the spirit of God?...Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one more discerning and wise as you."
May this be spoken about each one of us in our lifetime. This is my prayer for all of you. May this reading impact the wisdom that can only come from God.

  11. Exodus 14:10-14
The Israelites were terrified, doubted Moses & God and were ready to throw in the towel. They even blamed Moses for bringing them there. Sound familiar??
Remember those words of comfort given to Israelites. Those same words can comfort us today regardless of what we face:
"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

  12. Thank you Alexis. I needed to remember that today. Don't know how I missed those words this morning!

  13. Hello everyone. Please be encouraged on today. Here are some observations I had from Genesis:

    1. Gen. 1:26 states, “Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness.’” The following verse is “So God created man in His own image.” God said it would rain, “and rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights” (7:12). He does everything He says He is going to do.
    2. In Gen. 3:17, God tells Adam, “Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat of it.’” This is different from Noah, who “did everything just as God commanded him” (6:22). Adam listened to Eve, but Noah listened and obeyed God. The question I thought to myself was, “Who am I listening to?”
    3. Even though Sarai complained and said, “The LORD has kept me from having children” (16:2), there comes one of the most beautiful verses in Scripture: “Now the LORD was gracious to Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah what He had promised” (21:1).
    4. Abraham’s servant was praying for favor in finding Isaac’s wife, and “Before he had finished praying, Rebekah came out with her jar on her shoulder” (24:15). That’s amazing! Keep on praying, the answer is on the way. Jesus wants us to always pray and not give up (Luke 18:1).
    5. Pharaoh tells Joseph, “I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it” (41:15). “I cannot do it,’ Joseph replied to Pharaoh, ‘but God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires.” (41:16). Joseph knew His source and wasn’t afraid or ashamed to admit it to Pharaoh.
    6. Joseph encourages his brothers before he dies, “God will surely come to your aid” (50:25). God will come to our aid time and time again. While we were still sinners [in our greatest need], Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

  15. Is the LORD'S arm too short? Numbers 11:23

When faced with the doubts and questions of - How will this happen?, where will funds come?, Where will the provision come from?, just remember that the Lord's Arms aren't too short. He will provide. His arms extends far more than we can imagine. Many times in the bible he has promised us that he will meet our needs, we just need to trust in him. When Doubt Creeps in remember his question to us - Is the LORDS's arm too short?

    Be blessed today!!!

  16. Numbers 14:11 NIV
"The Lord said to Moses, "How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in me, in spite of all the signs I have performed among them?"

This verse hit home for me in addition to the verse Angela O mentioned...too often times we question God bc of what the circumstances look like. But as we see in Numbers 14:12 the wrath of God is nothing to play with.

  18. Let us never forget that the Lord is always with us.

    Deutronomy 4: 29 & 31
    29. But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
    31. For the Lord your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath.

  19. Good morning Ladises,
I am asking that you pray for one of my besties Chauntel. Her mother is in the hospital on a machine and the doctors are telling her that we only have "days" left with her. All I could tell her last night was BUT GOD....I know he has the final say and the devil is a lie. We just need as many prayers to go up to our father to give us years not days. My heart is heavy and ur prayers would really help. Thank you and God bless you all.

  20. 1 Samuel 10:9, God gave Saul another heart.

Whatever you are going through, whereever you are in life, know that God can give you another heart. A heart after His own. Just ask!

  21. It has been a minute, but I had to share this. David's Psalms are awesome! Psalm 26 led me to this prayer for myself and for you:

Lord, only you can remove the addiction and strongholds from within me by the power of the Holy Spirit. Help me to walk in your ways with my behaivor, with my mouth, and with my thoughts so You, O God receive all the glory and honor. I can do nothing without you. Help me try to stop thinking that I can. Because you and I both know that I can not. Help me Lord. Amen.
    Love you all!

  22. Wow.... Day 73!!!! About 18 more days to go. That's just a little over 2 weeks...The Lord has been faithful through this study plan. We should be wrapping up the book of Luke today. I know some of us are behind but dont let that discourage you. Keep at it and stay dedicated to it and God will reward you immensely. I have been so Blessed to do this study with you all and I know God is touching your hearts wherever you are. I am praying that God will open our eyes, ears and mind through his Word. Stay blessed and Encouraged!!!
